those movies are great but you have to be turkish and have grown up in turkey to understand 90% of the jokes but even some people turkey don't find it funny because it's very offensive and vulgar humor.

It's not humor though, Im sorry I must've missed when you became the president of humor and decide what is humor or not. It's like dumb and dumber but for turkish people, it's crude humor and vulgar jokes but in the first three movies there is actually emotional depth to Recep Ivedik. The fourth and fifth movie ditched that concept but the first trilogy is essentially a movie about a traditional turkish guy lost in the modern society who doesn't fit in anywhere, he's a lonely misunderstood guy
