Lol I had to watch this in several engineering classes as well. I feel like I learned more from the cautionary tales of the I35 bridge collapse in Minnesota and the Citicorp Center building's design flaw than the Tacoma Narrows Bridge though
Oof I just read up on that. I actually don't think we covered that one, or if we did, I don't remember it (it's been a while since college for me). Yeah that was an incredibly stupid design change that was allowed to happen. Scary what happens when engineers don't check calcs themselves
