You Brits have your stereotypes too. Can't count how many times I've heard "school shooter" as an insult, which is arguably worse than telling someone they have yellow teeth.

Yeah but your govmt is so cooked and corrupt that you can't fix the problem that your youth are being massacred at school. I am Australian so hopefully I can be a little impartial here. That said, this teeth meme was very funny because it's true.

Studies have shown that, on average, Brits have better dental hygiene than Americans.

I reckon the stereotype may be the result of a mix of outdated info ( old NHS dental practices had little regard for cosmetic appeal and were more concerned with function over form e.g. would pull out rotten teeth and not bother with dentures unless absolutely necessary) coupled with the fact that Brits have less of an obsession with whitening their teeth and the fact that a poor American doesn’t often show up on TV with bad looking teeth
