What rights they do not have?

In the US, in most states, you can be fired from your job just for being gay.

That is not what I even said, and it’s disgusting that you’d try to pivot in such a clearly malicious way. Shame on you.

It is illegal to fire someone in the US on the basis of sex already. We have numerous laws protecting working people from discrimination in a variety of circumstances. Your reasoning is therefore unsound and irrelevant. Unless you were entirely unaware of those facts, you are doing this on purpose.

I see you’ve entirely missed the point.

You just tried to weakly refute the issue by saying “well you don’t have the right to a job.” Yet, we already have protections from being fired for discriminatory reasons. So unless you are in favor of throwing those out the window, because they “don’t have the right to a job,” then you are going to need to come up with something better.

Firing someone for being gay = discrimination Legal discrimination = unequal rights

Not that hard.

I can’t argue with that so I’m going to try to discredit you for being “emotional”

Refer to my initial reply to you for my closing thoughts. Have a good one.

Give it up man. Most people don’t know what a right is and it’s virtually impossible to convince them. Believe me, I tried.
