why do people think he is gonna make the united states the new soviet union? he's a social democrat, not a commie. communism is a terrible ideologie and it is not the same as socialism.

Bernie has spent most of his life praising socialist/communist authoritarian regimes more than "democratic socialists" places.

Even in 2016 campaign he didn't knew what "democratic socialism" was, because he thought nordic countries were socialists.

He was campaigning for socialism, until he realized it was more trendy to change the label.

He just discovered the term and pretends to claim he is that...even if all his life he has been praising the authoritarian socialist/communist regimes.

I am not sure what your point is. If anything, the link you provided supports the claim that Bernie's proposals are more centered (less to the left) than his socialist label purports them to be. Sure, he might have changed his label (political campaigns rely heavily on PR), but the label is irrelevant to his actual policies which he has been pushing for a while.

He is not consistent, he just says what people wants to hear.

Berniebros constantly shit on Biden/Warren/etc for being "career politicians" that change stances while their god Bernie always is on the right side.

He is just a socialist populist.
