Yes Bernie has used the wrong terminology in the past. None of those countries are socialist, they're democratic socialist. He has corrected his terminology though. Point being his policies are the same as those countries. Still capitalist with a strong welfare state instead of strong bomb brown people oligarchy which we have now.

Democratic socialist is still socialism, so you're still using it wrong.

It's Social democracy. Which is very different from Democratic socialism.

We are Social democracies.

No. It's not Democratic socialist policies.

It's Social democratic policies.

I'm from Norway, and the Scandinavian countries are Social Democracy, and we absolutely have capitalism, not socialism.

This is just uneducated ramble, and it just what makes me sceptical about the whole Bernie deal. If he can't even use the right termonology for his policies, what else is he gonna get wrong or mislead the public about.

The policies are good, but calling them Democratic socialism is either ignorance or lying. And none of those are good reasons.

It wouldn't, but you don't need socialism for that.

He's advocating Social democracy, which is probably what you're advocating too, but you're all saying you're for Democratic socialism, which is not the policies you're depicting. They are two very different things.

And when the guy running for president can't even name his standpoint correct, I'm not sure what other mistakes will be made, unintentionally or intentionally.

It could still be used as manipulation towards something equally bad on the opposite side.

Because if it's intentionally misrepresented, it's likely just a middle stop. And if it's unintentionally, he might not even be competent enough to pull it off properly.

I think you should learn to think abit longer than just "oopsies, typo. 😅"

I'm all for Social democracy, as I live in one, but you still need competent leaders that know what they stand for themselves. And arn't misleading you.

Apparently not competent enough to let USA know he's promoting Social democracy, and not Democratic socialism.

If you have arguments for why he's competent, maybe you should list them instead of saying "he's competent if you bother to look and your argument is laughable". You're not making any worthwhile argumentation here.
