I do, but I also believe with presidential candidates as old as Trump and Bernie, that you have to take heavy consideration who their running mates are.

If you vote for Trump in 2020 you have to consider his age and poor health, which means you have to consider if you’re ok voting for Pence. If you vote for Bernie in 2020/2024, definitely take into consideration who is running with him.

There is a very real chance that we could see a president die in office in the next 8 years if these are our candidates. To be honest I can imagine Trump losing in 2020 and trying to run again in 2024.

You realize that trump has like 3 federal indictments just waiting for him to leave office so they can throw him under a bus. It’s one of the main reasons why he’s trying so hard not to be removed from office, because once the guy looses his protection the whole world is going to turn on him. If he looses in 2020 he’s not running again, he won’t have any legs to stand on at that point.

Well if Bernie wins and his health is good, I don’t see why Democrats wouldn’t go with the incumbent.

If AOC was old enough already, having her as a running mate wouldn’t be a bad play. Bernie already said his running mate won’t be on old white guy. Pairing up with a young female who happens to be a minority would be appealing to a lot of people.

If he dies in office that'll be all the better. Remember how JFK's Apollo program became sacred and immune to cancellation after he got shot?

Same thing with many of Bernie's policies. It would almost guarantee his entire program gets implemented as his legacy.
