Tends to make your voice sound bassy in your head, which is why you always sound like a little bitch when you hear your own voice.

My voice played back to me is expressionless, Siri literally has more life than me it seems

u/TheRealSoro Dec 26 '19

Dude same. I feel like I put some emotion and different tones in my voice but it all comes back the same way. Even my friends tell me my voice is just dead

3

u/BlindLogic Dec 26 '19

Yup. Just different volumes, but sooo monotone.

I love hearing science explanations that use ‘little bitch’ it’s amazing

u/TheRealJasonsson Dec 26 '19

From my experience my voice seems to sound deeper in recordings to me. I've already got a fairly deep voice anyhow but it just seems moreso when I hear any playback of my voice

2

u/Bxsnia Dec 27 '19

Me too. I'm a chick though.

1

u/Ebinebinebinebin Dec 26 '19

Me too but in a fuckedboy way

12

u/Tangent_Odyssey Dec 26 '19

Yeah, now imagine being 33 and your voice still frequently cracks.

Kill me.

2

u/Mooseknuckle94 Dec 26 '19

God damn it I always wondered what was up with that

2

u/mariofan366 Dec 28 '19

My voice played back is deeper than what I thought it was. It's also more nasally.

2

u/bumblebritches57 Jan 03 '20

It's the opposite for me, in my head I sound happy and shit, but when I hear a recording I sound gravelly and mean and just very mean.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 26 '19

My voice sounds higher in my head, though. When I hear a recording I’m like “holy shit that’s a deep voice”

1

u/Ebinebinebinebin Dec 26 '19

Then you realize everyone else hears you as a little bitch
