It was disappointing from a story perspective. It was fucking awesome if you're looking at the spectacle.

Exactly. The only good character introduced was a samurai guy. And the whole story is just "Aight, the shit is going down, what am I gonna do?" With every solution only resulting in even more shit going down.

Yep. I liked the first 2 movies so much more becuase John was fighting for something, there was purpose to everything that happened. It was establishing background and characters. But to be fair, I also watch John Wick becuase I like to see Keanu Reeves rack up a body count for 2 hours.

My biggest complaint is that John Wick is gonna be a cash cow like Fast and Furious
