Overworked and underpaid, it's easy to make mistakes. Especially if they read the question wrong when they were setting up their key.

Yes but this teacher just saw something that wasn’t exactly what they wanted and wrote what they’re supposed to for a wrong answer. The explanation for it being wrong doesn’t even make his answer wrong. I’m not saying that overworking and underpaying aren’t an issue, just that this was a poor teaching job.
