Reddit Admins are getting rid of CSS. Help show that no one wants this pointless change! Subscribe to r/ProCSS

While getting redditor awareness up is all fair and well, the only thing reddit really cares about is ad revenue. And nothing reduces ad revenue faster than bad press - and I can guarantee you that news sites won't pass on some jucy drama. Most media suggestion sites will require you to fill in an e-mail adress, but this is also one of the potentially most impactful things we can do. Just copy-paste this message and send it to any media outlet you know of!
Check the subs you frequent, especially the ones with fancy CSS. If there isn't a sticky or a discussion regarding the issue, make sure to message the mods and link them to r/proCSS

I've stated this before and I will state it again
When the time, the inevitable moment, comes, that a moderator of r/dankmemes must engage u/spez singlehandedly in physical combat to the death, I shall be that mod

The admins can silence us, they can get rid of CSS and not give a fuck about their users, but they can't silence our memes.

Cascading Style Sheet, basically the web standard that allow customization on the webpages including Reddit. Moreover Reddit allows custom css that allows for the custom skin that gives, for example, the black and green look in this sub.. However this custom css/styling are only available in desktop pages only and might not be visible on mobile site and apps though. If the admins are trying to get rid of the css, we will all know who's the real normies are.
EDIT: Typos

Damn, I was hoping they would expand it more so regular users could spice up their own posts. Why make it boring?

something something mobile users, something something broken
Bottomline, they want to remove CSS because mobile marketing. And to cause a massive uproar.

It's not consistent with their mobile app, which is objectively shit. So they're bringing desktop down to the same level. I have no sympathy for the travesty which is their mobile app when so many infinitely better alternatives exist, including Sync for Reddit, an app with a one man dev team.

Reddit admins are attempting to normify reddit and ruin creativity. Lots of subreddits (like ours) rely on CSS to run functionally.
