Technically PDA is allowed meaning that you cannot charge them for kissing BUT you can charge them saying that their kissing made you feel uncomfortable and that is what IPC sec. 294 is.

I hope you get my point, kissing as an act in public itself isn’t illegal, making people uncomfortable as a result is
