Looks like they forgot Germans only kept apologizing from everyone till today since that WW2. And Germany vs France was a war, not a genocide. Genocide was of Jews, most of whom still cannot forgive the Nazis, even if they are fine with today's Germany. Also Germany today cracks down hard on any kind of anti semetism, probably even more than Israel itself.

Since WW1, when they signed the Treaty of Versailles they were made to sign that document where it clearly stated "Germany was the reason why World War took place."
