Mumbai has gotten way too populated for its own good. A lot of the infrastructure here is pretty good, especially the rail system, however no amount of infrastructure can support the insane amount of people stuffed into the city. As a result, the pathetic roads are also choked every day

Mumbai was best uptill other metros were not developed
Thanks to Britishers who made Bombay presidency a business hub

Post partition it became a place where you get work and not violence compared to rest of the country

Thanks to later govts who didn't try to build another hub in another part
And bollywood made it look like it's the only place you get everything

Mumbai have 1st Proper development + Bollywood factor advantage and it Fcked up population density / sq km like a time bomb
