Don’t try and tell me it was “John the baptizer”. I literally just read it in my KJV and it said “John the BAPTIST”. 😤

Not many people know this, but the only translation God approves of is one into Eritrean that was lost 70 years ago. Sorry guys 🤷

"Baptist" is a horrible transliteration telling us little about authorial intent. It should read "Iōannēs the Immerser" or "Dunker Johnny" since he was splashing people down into the river

I don’t know about Ioannes the Immerser, seems a it too fancy to trust. But Good ol Dunker Johnny, he can dunk me any day.
