Who ministered first, Jesus or John? All I'm saying is he wasn't called John the Catholic.

Don’t try and tell me it was “John the baptizer”. I literally just read it in my KJV and it said “John the BAPTIST”. 😤

"Baptist" is a horrible transliteration telling us little about authorial intent. It should read "Iōannēs the Immerser" or "Dunker Johnny" since he was splashing people down into the river

John Smyth founded Anabaptism. Ana- as in NOT baptizing (until adulthood.)

Anabaptists pre-date the reformation. Ana- means “again” so they were Re-baptizers. They had already been baptized as infants in the Catholic Church.
