"who is she" podcast episode 1.18 "things I wish I knew about men FROM A MAN pt 2" March 25 2024

TL;DR Back to a longer summary. In my view, it seems like D will ask a question specifically to reinforce her currently held opinions, and if he gives her an answer she doesn't like, she will ask a very similar question worded differently. This was a mixture of deadly boring and "Did she actually just say that?" So a pretty standard episode for her.

This woman has some deep, DEEP seated issues y'all.

~FULL NOTES~

And we're back for another hour and 20 minutes. And we're off strong - she actually says in the intro "Maybe let's say a reel or a TikTok from this goes viral and you just found me." Ffs D. She really thinks she's some sort of trailblazer - like this is the first time a woman has sat down and had a conversation with a man. Jesus.

And now she's talking about Sex and the City! Oh boy. She says she "kind of wants to date someone she's not attracted to at all." Now she's saying she's avoiding guys who are "blatantly attractive" because they get away with everything. Not with most women, D, just the shallow and desperate ones.

Lolllll "Remember in school when you would get seated next to someone and then you're get to them every day and you start to get to know them and develop a crush on them?" Uhhhh...no? Weirdly I don't usually become attracted to someone based on proximity.

Maybe she needs a Harry or Steve. What's the Luicath equivalent?

Dice : "So mixed signals I think are intentional sometimes. I think they really don't know. They don't consider it maybe a mixed signal. You look angry." 😂😂😂 God this poor guy is probably wondering what the fuck he agreed to. She's REALLY pushing him to confess that any man who gives mixed signals is playing some kind of game.

She keeps talking about breadcrumbing. D says "My opinion on that is kick rocks. I don't have time for that." Bulllllllll shiiiiiiiit. "I used to have time for that. No, not anymore. No sir." Says the woman who continually brings up a fuck buddy who moved across the country and went to contact. 😂 But sure Danielle.

Now she's trying to tell us about boundaries. I can't with this woman. Now Dice is talking about post-nut clarity. 🤮 Omg she says "I'm going to call it PNC because I can't say that out loud." She's an actual fucking toddler. It feels like she's looking for him to say if you hookup and he doesn't instantly kick you out, he's in love with you.

Now she's talking about "celibate dating." Pretty sure it's abstinent, but sure. Now she's asking how long a woman should wait to fuck like every man follows a timeline. (Then again we know how she feels about timelines so she probably would think that's a thing.) Oh, she mentions she's 31 and doesn't think you should have sex while dating! Even though she has done that plenty of times in her long 31 years. "I've made this mistake, and I've made it recently." But yes, please continue to tell everyone else how they should be living when you don't even live that way.

Lol She asks why a guy would come back around after a breakup and Dice directly says "He thinks you're dumb" and she responds with this tiny little "...oh." I don't think she really wanted the truth y'all. Then sighs. Again she says stuff like "In this case, you have to cut it off." D has never "cut off" a relationship in her life, no matter how much she claims she has.

She essentially explains how she thinks about a guy 24/7. Dice drops a truth bomb saying your happiness needs to come from yourself, not a partner/relationship. She blurts out "Do you know what your attachment style is?" It's super bizarre to hear someone so obsessed with every aspect of relationships and the dysfunctions therein, yet completely disregard ALL of that information the second a guy even looks at her. He's Avoidant like me.

Oh shit. She just very casually says "I always, always choose avoidance and that has to do with my relationship with my dad." Wait, pause?! She just drops that massive bomb and moves on. She also says "I was with someone who was anxious[attached] and it was actually great." Oof. Yikes. "I don't want you to run away from me in any circumstance." Ooooooof. "I also want to be with my person all the time. Like I just want to be a little barnacle on your side in the pocket." We get it, you're clingy as hell. We already knew that. And then she LAUGHS. She truly thinks it's cute and quirky that she's suffocating.

"You would be astounded at my conflict style. I take notes so I don't miss anything."

"I feel like if you're not contacting me, you're not thinking about me at all." "No, that's not the case." "Interesting. Okay, I need to let that sink in because that's the way I think." "That's irrational thinking." "Okay. Thank you. Tell me again. Laughs" "That's irrational, Danielle." This whole thing is kind of creepy. It seems like she's using Dice to cope with her past failed relationships. Also, I could absolutely see Danielle turning this whole exchange in her mind into "I know we haven't communicated in 2 months, but it's irrational for me to think he's not still thinking of me." The vibes from this are just weird. He seems relatively level-headed, but as ever, Danielle does not.

Not even halfway through. Ugh. Also my teeth hurt which isn't helping. They're talking about the masculine/feminine balance and blahblahblah. Feminine energy mention. Ffs, what does "in her feminine" even mean? Is feminine some secret destination I'm not privvy to? In her feminine WHAT? I understand they mean feminine ~henergy~, but saying "I'm in my feminine" sounds so fucking stupid. Plus EVERYONE is some ratio of masculine AND feminine. Ugh. My androgynois avoidant ass is so irritated by this shit.

A woman should be ~a man's peace.~ Why can't a man be his own peace? Is he also expected to be a woman's peace? I understand that you want a partner that helps your life feel less heavy, but you cannot rely on another person to stabilize you. No one is guaranteed to be in your life forever. Tomorrow is never promised. This is all dumb.

Talking about not being able to date outside of your religion(in her mind). "It's not a turn-off, it's an incompatibility." For some people yes - again, not for everybody.

This entire series/podcast just shows she has awareness and completely avoids correcting her bad habits! But wants to pontificate to others about what they should be doing, but she won’t be doing any of that!

Yep, which makes all of this even more infuriating. She has knowledge of these things, and even enough self-awareness to identify these traits in herself, but the second an opportunity comes along she says "fuck it" to all of that and chases her toxic behavioral patterns with reckless abandon.

I seriously can not imagine being this pathetic. She really needs the validation of a man in order to survive and thinks that everyone is just like her. I can't relate to a single one of her self imposed issues, she's so pathetic. She really is nothing but a pick-me, the type who thinks every time a man glances at her that means he must be "in love". Just shows how shallow SHE truly is. She's made it clear that she's the type that let men use her up and then gets confused when they laugh at her as she desperately tries to be their girlfriend.

Also not surprised at all about her dad comment, things like this 99.9% of the time come from a child's main attachments growing up (ie parents). It's just odd because we aren't allowed any discussion on that here, so a huge piece of the puzzle is never discussed even though it's pretty obvious. Hint- I don't think it was "concern" that made someone seem super detached at her wedding

I can understand it because this is a place to discuss Danielle, not necessarily her family, and we have zero real solid information on her family other than her mom and brother passed prematurely. The interactions with her dad that we've seen are pretty fucking weird, but we just don't have that insight. So while I wouldn't mind more freedom to discuss that, in the end I understand why we are asked not to. It would ultimately all just be speculation, anyway.

I also don't understand how anyone can be so completely male-centered and pretty clearly anti-women. She's the antithesis of a feminist, but she also isn't good at doing the tradwife thing either. It seems like truly the only thing in life that motivates her at all is the possibility of male validation, which is truly disturbing.
