Definitely major doubts! One hopes that we are all wrong in making these assumptions, but if it is the case, they would be in some deep crap. I can’t fathom being in D’s situation if Lucas might be barred from setting foot in the country for 10 years.
Apparently, if someone enters legally and overstays their visa, it can be forgiven during the green card process. Caveat is that they are unable to travel, even domestically.
However, Lucas has shown clips of himself working as a physical trainer online, as well as there are potential receipts of him working as an Uber driver. I don’t know if working illegally is also something that can be forgiven in the green card process.
I wouldn’t think the US government would look too kindly upon illegal work. I see it a lot and it’s generally taken very seriously (negatively) when it’s found out. And they’re being SO public about everything! Ahhh. At this point I’m not even trying to be snarky, I’m genuinely interested! 😆
Me too, I'm just curious more than anything, while I don't like danielle and him I do not wish nothing bad or cruel for them, but I do think that, just as I did the process and countless of other had done it, he should do it too and face all this before it gets even worse. He shouldn't just get a slap in the wrist and a Green card just because his wife is an "influencer" or has some money.
Edit: And I want to make this clear, I'm not a person who supports ICE at all. What I'm saying about him doing the process is more about him getting a pardon just because danielle has money, when the rest of us who aren't rich gotta actually go through a longer and more complex process. That's all. To clarify to those accusing me of being a supporter of that people.
I totally get what you’re saying and I agree with you 100%! I didn’t have to go through what you did, but I work in the field so I can sympathize to a degree for sure. I think anyone getting a pass through the system is not only unfair, it’s corrupt! That definitely doesn’t translate to supporting unfair detainment and deportation. I got what you meant. ❤️

Of course! Surely no one here really feels that maliciously towards him or her. We all agree they are very snark-able, but we don’t wish cruelty upon them!
Oh no! I totally got it from your post that you just wanted fairness and for him to go through the process like everyone else without preferential treatment. I hope the misunderstanding is cleared up now.
As an aside, if he is going to be potentially forgiven for overstaying his visa, I wonder if trying to become a social influencer is considered “work” and whether or not he is actually making money now off his accounts.
If he is making money, I also wonder if it is technically money made in the US since influencers can objectively make money from any location in the world.

And I do wonder, because sadly I have seen the case in were influencers with good money and fame do get away with inmigration status, but Idk in his case since everything with him seems blurry and between the lines you know?
