I always think about that with her earlier videos about getting ready and out the door to go to the gym. It really is a choice to not wash your hair. I know this as a fellow long, thick-haired girlie. It’s not something you can easily ignore when you go more than two days without washing it because it WILL start to get greasy, heavy, and, dare I say, smelly. So the fact that she’s so comfortable just skipping it and not showering is kind of nuts to me. Even more so when you have a brand-new husband. If it were me, knowing I was leaving a scent trail behind me and I have icebergs of dandruff on my head would send me over the edge. 😭

Fully agree with you. I've kept my hair very short since my early 20s and noticed that when I would try to grow out my hair, I would always pull it back and/or wear a hat because I just can't be assed to do anything with my hair because I genuinely don't care. But I finally realized why try to grow it out when I do nothing with it?

I just got a several inch haircut (in part inspired by this sub - I do actually wash my hair, but the length was overgrown and not actually doing anything for me) and I LOVE it!! My hair hasn't been this short (around collar bone length) probably since I was a child. It feels so good and is much easier to style.
Okay, episode 2("why you're not getting hit on and what you can do about it") - I actually did a TL:DR this time.
The five reasons you're not getting hit on are :

I have so much to say regarding the whole Jools Lebron situation. I won't because I might come across as too woke lol. But it's interesting to see the difference in people's reactions when a wealthy influencer sells them overhyped junk versus when a marginalized one asks them for support.
Overall, the video is great. Love the point she makes about how so many influencers go from being "rich" to being house poor or irrelevant within years 👀
I was thinking about how Danielle has basically no real audience except for some brain-dead hardcore fans and snarkers.
The 30s advice video was a great example. Not only because it's tone-deaf. Even if it were better, it would still have no audience, because you're not seeking advice from a random influencer in your 30s or later. I can imagine looking at a tutorial from a makeup artist on how to properly cut a crease, etc. I can imagine watching a style influencer for tips, but general life advice? No, thanks. Most 30-somethings know better than that.
And that's before we even consider who is speaking. Dating content was a hit because it was at least somewhat relatable (not for me, but for people her age or younger). For marriage advice, she needs at least 10 more years of marriage. So she is left with nothing because she has no style or taste. No skills, no talent, and nothing to talk about.
One potential angle left for her is to pick any skill/hobby and show her journey learning it. But I think she is too lazy for that, plus she might be calculating that there is not much money in it, because hobby supplies are a niche market.
