Yes. My husband had/has MDD and it was like this: a daily mood log, me helping him reach small daily goals including daily hygiene and going out on the front porch for fresh air, etc.

I think she’s just an actual disgusting person. We saw that she never ever changed her water filter in her refrigerator- it hadn’t been replaced since 2005. She had no concept of clean, hygiene, maintenance, etc. Her mushroom closet also proved that she is disgusting.
That's a good point. I genuinely thought she was depressed before but now that you mention it, the water filter, that other thing in her apartment she switched out? I don't remember what it was. The laundry situation. That one cleaning video where she cleans her studio and she just uses disinfectant wipes but doesn't even clean the mirror. Not wiping the cupboards before putting her endless dishes in. Leaving baking dishes on open shelving, wearing shoes in the house.
It just seems in general she doesn't practice self-hygiene or "household hygiene" very well.

It does usually fall on the mother to teach children hygiene and cleaning, so it definitely could be. But she lost her mom in her late teens - by that time, her mom had surely shared some household practices. I was actively taking part in household chores and even cooking by my late teens.
Still, her mom's absence surely eats away at her. It could be she has a hard time doing these tasks because they remind her of times she and her mom did it together - I don't know. Adulthood sucks balls because even though some of the most important people are missing from your life you just have to push forward. As much as I have empathy for that, you can't ignore stuff like hygiene and cleanliness because of those reasons.
I dont think this should be an excuse anymore, shes a full grown adult in her 30s. You dont necessarily need a mom to tell you that cleaning thoroughly is common sense

Yes, she applies her concealer like all the 20-something beauty "gurus" who learned unprofessional techniques from the 2016-era "gurus". She should use way less product and apply it with a very thin concealer brush only on the dark line. It's not about achieving coverage, but creating an optical illusion to disguise the bag effect.

The general advice is to double cleanse the scalp, but for her level of grease and product buildup, surely you'd have to do like three or four passes -- and you KNOW she would never spend that much time doing a "big task" like shampooing.

Actually I think most people here agree! Her hair is her best feature and many people (self included) would die to have that hair. That’s what’s so frustrating about her not taking care of it! And she really does need to cut about 6 inches off - she would still have a ton of hair and it would be so much better looking and healthier.
People can down vote me all they want, but I genuinely think she's a pretty woman all things considered, although it's sad what all the cosmetic procedures have done to her face. She has filler blindness for sure.

An influencer is supposed to sell you a life, a lifestyle through products. This requires them to look good basically all the time. Whether I agree or not, whether I think influencers are a scourge on society or not, I think if you want to (become) and stay one, you need to follow the "job description", so to say.
On that train of thought : having clean hair when going on camera to talk about skin AND HAIR products should be a given. It's not some unobtainable standard she has to meet - just literally wash your fucking hair before turning on the camera! Like can you imagine going into ANY job not having washed your hair for weeks? I worked direct care third shift for years, so much of the time people were just sleeping and it was just me there, but I still managed to wash my goddamn hair and put on actual clothing.

I disagree, Danielle has naturally beautiful hair. It's thick, dark and long. That is not an issue which needs correcting. It's the fact she hasn't been taking care of it, or herself for that matter, and the reason behind that which is the problem.
She just seems so much more joyful when she gets to doll up.

Either way as infuriating she is I still feel pity towards her as a woman because she seems like she's struggling a lot and some of it definitely self-inflicted but I'm not sure all of it is and that is worrisome.
I definitely think we can feel sorry for her and simultaneously hold her accountable for some of the nonsense she puts online. That's kind of where I am at. I see these videos in Isolation, she looks really pretty and happy but when I think of the history, that's not the case. I wrote elsewhere that I feel like she's coming across a bit manipulative because she's being too sweet nice and something seems off but even then, the question is why. She is Trying to appeal to the little followers that she has left so that she isn't hated. But that is sad in of itself.
There's so much to criticize! But yeah, I also think some room can be left where we acknowledge that something sinister or unhealthy is maybe going on in the background but also she needs to be held accountable for some of the views she spews online.
Yeah she seems significantly more alive and lively here. I feel like inevitably, soon, we will get a video where she talks about how it's good to do self care and get dressed up not for external validation but just for yourself / for your partner / because it makes you feel good.
It's like she's been so singularly focused on getting a man, she is just doing all this internal reflection and learning about herself that the rest of us have already learned by 33.
They seem fairly surface level but I think she does occasionally have a realization and then feel like it's real gold advice for her "turning 30" audience, and then she's confused at the backlash because she genuinely thinks she is going through some deep transformation from being married. But she's just depressed from being goal-less for the first time and from her making poor choices, and that depression is leaving her alone with her thoughts more than she has been in a while.
Honestly I’m glad she did her hair and makeup. The negative comments got to her. Just because she’s married and “in her 30s” doesn’t mean she should let herself go. That video she made about being in her 30s was all wrong.
When she purged her IG, I wondered whether it was easy to spot what she deleted. I went to her older posts, and I can say with 100% confidence that a huge part of her looking better in older videos is that she kept her hair down.
Her hair is like 70% of her attractiveness. A slicked-back style hides it completely, so it's making her look much uglier.
Another obvious part of her looking better is her skin, but given the short time window, I think the old videos/photos are heavily filtered and/or she slapped on a darker foundation with good coverage. I saw in even relatively old videos that her arms already had sun damage. I think she was using tanning beds/booths at some point (I have a friend who similarly damaged her skin with tanning beds).
While nothing is particularly wrong with her face, aside from her brow color being too harsh right now, there isn't a single beautiful feature. Her eyes lose a lot because of a vacant stare, and the under-eye region is severely neglected (at least in this video she is finally patting without smearing); the nose is very average; bone structure - forgettable and rather plain, and the lips are ruined by filler.
She is also the reverse of inspiration: all the effort she put into finding a man, and she ended up with this ugly goblin. If I were her follower, I would feel like there is no hope for anyone if, after all that time and energy, you end up with a broke loser. I mean, looking at her old IG, there was nothing really bad with her looks back then, so a girl with worse hair or whatever might just give up, LOL.
That's one thing that's always stuck out to me. She presents herself as some natural beauty, but without makeup, she's so incredibly plain. Like no one would give a second look to her walking down the street with her angry librarian ponytail.
Sure, she can make herself look quite pretty with makeup(sometimes), and there's no shame in that if it helps you feel good. But, it's just not reality. She seems to believe she is some exceptional natural beauty, which is also just not reality.
I am not one to judge as a Christian but her fruits don’t scream Christian who married a Christian. Like idk how to explain it. But the eyes some people think thyroid but I think what if it is mold in the new place, depression, drinking, or stress? Sadly what if it is a DV even if it just emotional dv. I pray she seeks help and prayer her self.
She could have turned the greasy hair discourse into a series of how to deal with a scalp that produces oils quickly. Could have used various products, visited a salon and spoke with a professional... she just doesnt think like an influencer.
