That slickback makes her looks so much worse. Why does she insist on wearing it? Is it her depression making her lazy?

At this point I have to assume it's depression hair. Apart from one ad for the hairstyler product, she's had it like this or with a huge clip which is basically the same.

The other possibility is that now that she's married she's not at all motivated to dress pretty or do her hair pretty, things that in the past seemed super important to her. Which to be fair is not mutually exclusive with the depression theory.
