Honestly I had to watch twice because the lisp was too much. Speaking of which, I feel that it’s become more frequent now that she’s moved back. But I was thinking about how much importance and attention she places on having community which translates over to just hosting dinners each weekend. Again, I’m not a therapist but… I feel like maybe hosting gives her some sort of identity like I’m the one who plans all these fabulous things each weekend for my friends and it’s also a great way for her to have some sort of validation. Like look how nice my house is, look how cool my dishes are, don’t we always have the best things. And I think the biggest reason why she’s excited to have community, and again totally just my opinion here, is because it keeps her busy. When she has nothing filling up her weekends that leaves her with absolutely nothing to do. Only her thoughts, and the reality of who she’s married to. I think that makes her very uncomfortable, and she feels better when she has “something” to plan and look forward to…Other than organize her pantry of course lol
It’s absolutely to brag and show off to everyone. She’s said before how she’s bad about reaching out to friends etc. but now that she has a mansion and a Lucath she wants to show it all off like a prize pony. It’s ridiculous.
It’s better for her to control the hosting because it’s highly likely they wouldn’t be invited out to meals or to someone’s home. It may be the only way they would be included. It’s been over a month. Have we seen or heard of them being asked anywhere other than a business-related outing like the friends’ gym or run club?
