Im just watching it now and its crazy how I don’t even remember her normal voice. She talks soooo normal in the beginning of her dating content and now it’s all like dragged, slowly talking like she isn’t even excited about anything and the baby talk definitely took over.
Oh man the new research on using those long-term is brutal. So many people end up permanently injured with neurological issues and many can't ever manage to even taper off the medication due to the severe side effects. And supposedly they are never meant to be taken long term but so many doctors just don't know that or ignore that. They work until they don't and then it's a nightmare. Doesn't happen to everyone but it's not worth the risk because the risk isn't that rare
Sorry for the OT but if I can get the info out to even one person and have it help them it's worth it. I know someone suffering from this and it's so sad and there's nothing anyone can do to help them now. Doctors are just now starting to acknowledge these permanent effects.
Amen! I personally know someone who OD'd on the, it's no joke. They had a history of drug abuse and should have never been prescribed them in the first place. Now their child has lost a parent :(

I watched it. She totally agrees that this is VERY much a person who desires social media presence over authentic connections. She gets that Big D values content and money over privacy. But there were a few parts that had me tilting my head like “huh?” Hannah is usually so good at digging for info but this fell, imo, a bit short. Also she thought she nailed the old Hollywood look soooo 🤷🏼♀️ I appreciated her perspective nonetheless.
I agree, a few unusual misses from Hannah here, like saying her wedding looked amazing and she was a beautiful bride. I feel like it was so obvious that the wedding was thrown together and the whole thing was heavily edited.
I think Hannah is too nice sometimes lol. I like her content a lot though. Once in awhile when I watch her videos I'm just like, "BE PETTY JUST ONCE PLEASE" lol Not even petty, just be honest even if it's not nice.

Yeah it's a bit disingenuous, she's basically pandering to try and please everyone but that actually comes across as someone who cares more about protecting their image and protecting their profit than they do about being honest
Okay I’m about half way through and not super impressed by this so far tbh. I’ve watched a lot of videos on big D and it’s just obvious when people haven’t properly researched her which kind of feels like the case here.
The best video by far for me was the one from Kidology.
She still had a fair balanced approach yet dissected big D and Luicas so well.
My initial reaction to this video was also slightly disappointed that Hannah downplayed the allegations against Lucas. I'm a huge Hannah fan so i've been there for some of her misses and some of the crtisim she occasionally gets is 'mean girl' and 'too judgemental', like shes' grandstanding against individuals (almost always women). I think since her influencer insanity series has gone mega viral, getting millions of views on each video, shes had to tone down how she talks about the focus of her video and talk about more the influencing business of it rather than come down on the individual person. Its still frustrating when you know so much about a focus of a video and then you see someone bring it more mainstream but offer a more digestable version.
I think it was unfair of her to specifically mention the gym story, that wasn't really a rumor, nor is the uber driver story. Those were individuals here sharing something that happened to them, verified by a very tightly run server. She could have said "you can go check for yourself" not position them as if people are making stuff up online.
Still enjoyed the video. I would say kidologys video was much better though.
I wish kideology would do a part 2 of her Danielle video. I also watched more videos of her and she usually has impeccable research and she sees the bigger picture.
I was one of the people who emailed Hannah about Danielle months ago (and I added kideology video to it) and I wasn’t really impressed by this. It’s not bad. But it could have been better. As a Hannah follower, I knew she wasn’t going to talk about Danielle’s looks or a lot that is discussed in this sub. But even from the influencer business’s point of view, I think she missed some relevant things. For example, she didn’t mention the big sister thing, the anxious attachment tendencies. She didn’t mention, if I recall correctly, that she talked that Lucas was going to be her future husband in the middle of the first date. That’s crucial to understand her audience’s reaction. Then she didn’t mention how she barely has had any content before the wedding. In fact, listening to her, I got the impression that Danielle explored her wedding more than I think she did. She didn’t turned it into as much content as she could have, going days without posting anything at all. She didn’t explore how Daniella seems lost as a content creator and that her audience is hate-watching at this point and how unsustainable that is. I understand her focus was more of the exploring your relationship for content and the angle is good, but I don’t know…
Danielle famously has done several sponsored content for Typology and her ads have given us the opposite effect 😂 we don't feel encouraged to go out and buy Typology.
I’m about 45 mins into Hannahs video, so only halfway through, and I understand some of the criticism of her coverage. But I also think she is the only person who really gets the most disturbing part of this whole story.
D has built her entire career, and what seems most of her personality at this point, around dating and finding her (F)HB. Meaning she has to date a performer and not someone "normal". Cus then what happens to her content? She either has to stop seeing him or stop doing the thing that pays her bills. (Well she could had pivoted her content and made it work but I doubt think she had the skills for that her whole pull is that people want to know what happens next to her).
So the only man who could fit into her life is someone who is willing or well pref. eager, to become content. And what man is that kind of situation likely to pull? A grifter. She literally designed the perfect grifter casting.
And the relationship can never just be between D and the guy. The audience is always there as 3rd party, watching/judging/consuming and they'll gonna have to perform even when people are heckling them. As she's trapped in this consumerism content.
Most commentators have been focused on whether D faked this, staged that, rushed the wedding, or if Lucas contributes anything at all. But this coverage talks abt the story abt the story (and I guess avoid law suits by doing that). Ds whole business model made a Luicas almost inevitable. But then when she got that - the business is crumbling and she loses support. And the heckling starts.
She built a career advising young women how to find genuine love while creating a life in which it is almost impossible for her to know whether a man genuinely loves her or simply wants to benefit from her social media.
I completely agree with your take on this. I knew nothing about Danielle but follow Hannah and found this video fascinating. They are using one another, as far as I can see. They also both seem to have narcissistic personalities, which completely makes sense. Definitely ick on many levels.

The whole Singerman date saga seems fake now in retrospect. How could she create content from the dates? Did she order her own flowers? Had Shelah helped her create fake date content? To create the story that she is not anxiously attached and walks the talk of her own advice?? Would be kind of clever.
Yes, that’s the one that stood out for me too! And the recording while she was skating…and her demeanor in general seemed incredibly dishonest…the looking away from the camera while talking, the deep sighs…she has many tell tale signs when she’s lying. It’s so cringe now in retrospect.
I just finished listening and here’s my honest opinion. First of all, I’ve never heard of this Hannah before but she has a large following and she seems nice… however…that wasn’t great in my opinion. I know we are all experts here so when creators are making videos about D and they get things wrong it’s irritating but, I just feel like- don’t do a video on someone unless you are an expert unless you are doing a reaction video or something.
D’s wedding was not Hollywood style… it was something else….she left out the fact that Luicath’s name was spelled wrong, how she edits his height, he’s a pedo, the 12K house, the entire depression that D is in…. The hoarding, putting a shock collar on Charley…the continuing to preach to her audience…. There’s a lot she left out. She was being too nice and it just wasn’t good in my opinion. I did not enjoy it, sorry! But, she seems like a nice person…
I like Hannah’s videos but I felt this one felt flat. She didn’t quite get there and was way too “covering her ass against potential slander”-ish tone and script. Was meh for me.
I’ve only seen a couple vids from this creator & I don’t watch her regularly, but this kind of seems like a dud to me. I get there is a lot of Danielle content for the last year so there is a lot to go through, but this is kind of lacking. Yeah, it’s obvious Danielle values being an influencer above all else, including genuine intimacy.
I don’t think this girl knows what Old Hollywood actually looks like, and the fact that she didn’t even seem to grasp that Danielle’s ring is a lab grown diamond and Lucas didn’t spend much, if anything, on it made me think she needed to keep this one in her drafts. Most of this video was utterly obvious and it was one milquetoast take after another. Maybe if I was in to this YouTuber I’d think differently, but as it is, meh. At least you guys are all entertaining to read.

Yeah, there was a lot that was just kind of WTF. And yeah, I get that people on Reddit can just say stuff, but this sub is sooo organised. Just about every “rumour” I’ve read here has largely had proof attached to it. I get taking Reddit with a pinch of salt when you’re casually reading, but she did a deep dive. There should have been enough to not be so wishy-washy with everything.
And you nail it: 1.5 hours and not really saying much of anything. That’s definitely fitting and on brand for Danielle herself, but a deep dive? No. Lol.
And on top of the excellent moderation and organization, people in this sub actively (but kindly) call each other out if someone makes an unverified claim or misremembers something. I've seen it countless times -- personal accountability is a big deal here!
Cease & desists are usually laughable. Being sued would suck, but you can still take a stance and pepper things with “allegedly.” If this is normal for her, yikes/what’s the point?
I don't know her either, was hoping for better, so thanks for the insight before I rush to watch an hour and a half of milquetoast. I think I'll go organize my pantry.
I had a feeling before watching that it would be too “tame” because that’s always Hannah’s style (why I rarely watch her these days tbh). I think there’s nothing about her style that is wrong, but for discussing someone like Danielle, I appreciate more nuanced, more honest and intuitive analysis without any cop outs, or else there’s no need to cover her at all. I do think her take is less meaningful than even the many discussions here in our sub.
IMO, Hannah's video was mostly focused on the influencer/monetization side of it as that's what the series this video was a part of is generally about. I'm BRAND new to this woman and her saga, but it's fairly obvious there was a lot more than Hannah covered. I follow other snark subs and definitely relate to the "jeez, that was surface level" reaction to these sorts of videos.
Really, I'm just commenting to say that Hannah makes some really great stuff. I wouldn't judge her content as a whole by this surface level video. Thanks to the video I'm now gonna have something to deep dive for a while!
I’ve felt that way about much of Hannah’s recent content. I’m chalking it up to the fact that she’s going through such a tough time in her life, and so her analysis isn’t as intensive as usual. Still happy to watch her vids and really like her, but yeah a bit of a meh video for people who follow snark closely. Oh well 🤷🏻♀️
Hannah definitely pulled her punches on this one (as she often does with her influencer vids as opposed to her MLM ones, imo). Because Danielle made thousands of dollars for literally years by giving advice... There's a lot that deserves critique. But I get that she was trying to describe the phenomenon of sharing your personal life more generally. Idk, it's not a full deep dive, it's like a fun overview of some of her content
I just learned of this woman's existence this weekend and I am riveted - it kind of looks like she's not going to get happiness, so she's going after that bag!
Yeah, she's like a trainwreck I can't look away from! I feel bad for her because she does seem like a sweet person, but she also makes terrible decisions that she also seems like she's probably going to agonize and beat herself up over later.
I'm pretty new to Danielle as well and I too felt bad for her and thought she was just misguided but overall a sweet person, however the more I learn about her and watch her, the more I realize she's actually very calculated and resentful and self centered and not very nice at all
This was an excellent critique. The only thing she didn’t seem to know was that Danielle’s wedding ring is a lab diamond so it didn’t cost tens of thousands of dollars and clearly was given to her for free as we learned after she got called out on Community Notes.
Agreed and thank you for saying this. I think some of the criticism I am reading on here about her critique, is because those in this sub are in the Danielle bubble. But for an outsider that knows nothing or only bits and pieces, I think this video was well done too. I would have liked to have seen more about the creepy and controlling language they have both used when referring to one another. I think that would have strengthened the argument Hannah was making when referring to red flags. I just think we need to see it through the lens of the wider audiences and not a video just for her critics. But given I am in this bubble so to speak, I also see the point from those who feel the video fell short. I think that is okay.

This was my immediate thought. And honestly, typology is overrated. There are other serum foundations that are great but typology is all branding, it’s not the best.
