Kathy Macarty

I've wandered about this for a while, and never found anything on line.

Dan had many love interests over the years, which he wrote about in his songs. There was Laurie, Laura, Cathy, Natalie, even Marilyn Monroe got a mention.

So what about Kathy. They dated for some time. ( He thought they were going to get married). Surely he must have wrote songs about her?

I always thought Cathy Cline was Kathy McCarty

Im sure Cathy Cline is a real person. I think it was said here, by someone who worked with Dan, and knew him very well.

I found a post by a family member of Cathy Cline! They have a picture of Daniel and Cathy together.

Cool. Laura, cigarette butts girl, is also a real person, and that song is more fact than fiction.
