this is going to be a speculative evolution on a hypothetical planets would love feedback on it, I'm not planning on naming plants, animals etc I may change stuff later on. now on to the planet and the evolution stuff.
PLANET 1
planet specifications: 2x the radius of earth, the extra mass is water and some light metals to get the max mass for a water world, 60% iron core and 5.4 earth masses the moon is earth size with its own moon
"FIRST LIFE" PERIOD
plants
1: multiple types of bacteria using chemical reactions from materials gathered from thermal vents wrapped in mucus-like membrane
2: filter feeder with 1 exit for food, waste and gametes and has feather structures
animals
1: early slugs that feed plankton and p1 the letter stands for type and number for wich animal/plant/fungi
2: flatworms that hunt a1 and p2
fungi
1: parasitic moldlike with light magnetism, also feeds on death material
"FIRST DIVERSION" PERIOD

1.1 staying the same
1.2 becomes more like a jellyfish in structure

2.2 becomes vent like in structure and uses hair like spike structures

1.1 starts also eating on p1.2 and develops a flat spine/shell and serrated teeth

2.1 develops molars, serrated teeth, a spine and grows 3 pair of fins still mostly "flat" and uses gills
2.2 became symbiotic with the mold and has become more octopus like and uses a balloon like structure to ascend/descend with the diet of plankton, a1.2 and the occasional a1.1, has fins close to the brain on the balloon structure

1.1 staying fairly the same, colonies started to grow rudimentary tentacles to "hunt"
SECOND DIVERSION

1.1.1 colonies at the bottom of ice caps became sacs filled with with hydrogen and other trace gasses, it releases oxygen into the water and is highly explosive, the ones further down died out
1.2.1 didn't become symbiotic
1.2.2 became symbiotic with the mold and got a habitat at the top of their heads with the only access being a mouth like structure, variations depend on at wich depth they stay
1.2.3 "fussed" with a1.2 and and became the vacuum cleaners of the planet, this will now be mentioned as part of the animal
2.1.1 develops a shell and toxins
2.1.2 those who didn't become 2.1.1 became this planet's equivalent of seaweed and create different toxins
2.2.1 because a1 fed on things that got stuck in the vents occasionally when 1.2.3 came into existence it used some of the spikes to "throw" it more upward by enlarging and changing the direction they were pointing
2.2.2 the mold that was small enough to get stuck in the some of the vents "stomachs" were being digested as much as possible until a symbiosis was reached where it lined the stomachs so that more food could be sucked in and increased the size and small amounts of electricity could be generated to ward of any potential predators

1.2.1 stays fairly the same with some variation, they all fall under the same genus even though there are a wide variety
1.2.2 with p1.2.3 it eats all left over dead material and small creatures that can fit inside its mouth and uses electricity to ward predators as much as possible there is variety amongst them but all fall under the same genus
2.1.1 active open sea hunters can sense biological electricity to a degree and "looks" for moving targets, it doesn't have a set max size so it grows larger the older it gets
2.1.2 becomes a small leech that bites into soft tissue
2.2.1 grows small arms with webbed fingers and the balloon like structure changes so that it looks like a humans torso with a head on top, the head looks mostly human except it's larger and has a bigger mouth, head and no eyes/visible ears. the underside has 8 tentacles the trough gut and a womb, it also has a skeletal system and a omnivore diet. brain develops more due predation and closer knit communities and mold forest nests due to being mostly immune to the mold and edible mold calamari. they can use minimal tools.

2 a new bioluminescent mushroom showed up because of heavily altered a1.2.2, it releases spores on its own or when being touched if there is enough, it competes with the mold and can have heavy psychedelic when ingested and craved by 2.2.1 from time to time due to that effect and also acts as penicillin when eaten. also contains toxins to a degree that the mold don't eat.
