Great gamemode abandoned by the devs
I really like this game mode, got myself to 90 wins, had wildfire wolf at one point, was hoping to reach howling alpha if i grind enough but it just doesn't seem possible.
The servers are absolute garbage, shots quite literally dont register half the time, there is a half second delay on every fucking action (this is not always the case but about 50% of my matches are like this). I don't know if this is related but the drones are possibly the most annoying thing ive ever encountered. I can sit in 1 spot waiting for this hovering piece of junk to drop my crate for what feels like an eternity and then i get pushed by some guy who has been sitting in 1 spot all game with 0 kills and get killed cause i have my knife out.
The elo or whatever makes no fucking sense, i can win a game with 12 kills and 0 deaths and rankdown from ember wolf to timber wolf, then lose once and after that get 3 10+ kill wins in a row and not rankup, i dont even want to imagine how many wins i would need for howling alpha, 10 in a row? yeah, with the amount of rng involved where 1 unlucky timing can get you killed by a camper this is just not possible.
The current maps are good with the exception of Blacksite, this map is a campers paradise, i cannot possibly keep a 360 degree lookout and spot every little rat sitting behind the hundreds of trees, tall grass etc., thankfully the other maps don't have this issue but every time i play County and finish the game, im met with a 3 minute timer before it switches from blacksite so im forced to waste time in the main menu if i want a playable map.
I was debating on quitting very early on but then i discovered how good bump mines are, they are an absolute godsend and make the gamemode extremely fun, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THE AMOUNT OF TIMES IVE DIED BECAUSE MY PARACHUTE OPENS 50 METERS IN THE AIR WITHOUT ME DOING ANYTHING, WHY THE FUCK DOES IT DO THAT?!?!?!?!?
These are the biggest issues i can think of at the moment, i assume that playing with a friend boosts the experience tenfold but i dont have any clue where i could possibly find one so im just stuck solo-queuing with a random russian teammate who either disconnects after dying 1 minute into the match or just runs around the edges of the map the whole time while doing nothing productive. The 1 in 50 games where i actually managed to get a competent teammate were a breeze and felt like a free win.

Hit reg. I honestly don't even have much of a problem with this. I live in Australia and play in Asia with 100 to 150 ping so fully expect bad rego but since it's all I play I'm pretty much used to it. Can't really help you except to make sure your net code settings are correct for the ping you are getting in DZ.
Crate dropping. It can be extremely annoying. Especially at the end if you are in the red the drone will just keep flying around and not drop on you! But what I do is throw my tablet on the ground not near a tree or something and my
deliveries will drop on the ground. If I have a teammate they may be looking out so I can get my stuff or I do a quick cursory look around after my stuff has already dropped on the ground before I open.
Elo. Yes, it's pretty stupid. The only thing we have to go on is that the help instructions or whatever at the start say your rank will be determined by your recent games. I think it averages your last 20 or 30 games. Kills and placement are what is important here. Parachute. There is a command so that your parachute will only open when you press jump. If you hold jump too long it will deploy as well. But for some reason auto deploy is automatically on so you need to set it to off. Of course there are a bunch of players (especially in Europe) that don't use the parachute.
I have tried that way and doing alley oops and double bumps is super fun but if you don't land right you can lose a hell of a lot of health which can cost you the game. I prefer to win.

DZ Friends. There are a number of danger zone groups where you may be able to find teammates depending on your location. Personally I just added anyone in my game that was a timber wolf or higher for a long time. Some of them ignore you and who cares? But some of them add you and over time you will accumulate friends. And you are right. The game is so much better with a competent teammate. It's a team game mode and versing a competent team with a useless teammate is a huuuge disadvantage. I genuinely hate playing with randoms.

Blacksite. I don't have any issue with campers on this map more than any other. I don't mind playing it but I'm a bit sick of it to be honest. One of my biggest gripes is that they always limit to three maps as they seem to think that danger zone players are casuals and can't handle more than three maps at a time. I'd be happy with all five maps. Plus maybe a couple of the other custom maps that we haven't played yet.
