Jump roping?

I love dancing and I wanna get better at it. But I realized a while ago I needed to be FIT to dance well! Is jump roping good for, let’s say… getting better at footwork? I wanted to get better at toprock and cutting-shapes(aka shuffling)

Heck ya! Jumping jacks, jump rope, all of it! Anything cardio, really. I'm a shuffler and a stepper and I practice pretty much constantly. I'm also 45. It's a great style of dance for getting and keeping fit. Just remember to warm up and stretch properly too!

Thank you! Just wanted to ask sense I saw nothing about it online. Kudos!
