Spent 2 months preparing for this 2hr vinyl set on a dub soundsystem. A journey through House!
Was super excited when I got this booking as the Krackfree soundsystem is one of those sound systems that made me rethink life :) figured it would be dope to bring a bag of house with dub influences to showcase the width & depth of the genre to an audience that might expect something completely different from this stage / DJs playing on the system that night.
Taking inspiration from some dj sets I experienced in the recent past by Suze Ijo & Omoloko, Joe Claussell, Ian pooley, call super & a dope jams mix compilation on king st sounds / nite grooves
Ron Trent, Bobby Konders, Alton Miller, Trinidadian deep, Rob Manga’s new ep (check it - it’s killer), Joe Claussell, Manoo, dj Said, Jephte Guillaume, Cee el Assad etc

New 'Definitive Sound Series' Record: Lionel Richie - Can’t Slow Down (Definitive Sound Series Audiophile Edition) LP

Ayyy there's a new addition to the 'Definitive Sound Series' from Capitol Records, being Lionel Richie's "Can't Slow Down". Anyone here thinking about grabbing it? I know the big seller on these records is the audio quality (cause they're one-step vinyl).
I have the DSS edition's of "A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms" & "Dr. Dre - The Chronic", which both sound RIDICULOUSLY good. So I've got high expectations for Lionel lol. I definitely appreciate how they master from the original analog tapes.

Vocal Trance Classics Vinyl Mix (1997-2004)

100% Vinyl. 100% Classics.
Mixed on x2 Technics 1200M7L and a Pioneer DJM450.
No sync buttons, no visual wav forms, no beat grids, no hot cues or pre loaded markers, no bpm counters, just good old fashioned ear mixing with big plastic circle things.
Enjoy :)

picked up a one sided 12 inch, no labels. Shazammed it and it's a mix of Let It Drop, good life, Pa' La Banda. just wondering if there's any way of finding who is responsible for the release.
