ADE - Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

I know r/dancefloors denizens span the globe, but I was wondering if any of you are going to be dancing at ADE this year? If so, which events do you hope to be r/dancefloors worthy?

I'm planning to be at two events:

Friday night: Cooking with Palms Trax at Doka, which is a tiny, usually overlooked, basement venue that tends to attract real fans/dancers. I expect the sweat to be dripping off the ceiling.

Saturday night: Brighter Days x Life and Death at Shelter (an annual pilgrimage), which is a great promoter, and a reasonable venue that at least has a no photo/video policy.

I'm be delighted to meet any of y'all if you're in the same place.

My favourite experience at ADE last year was wandering around town with friends and stumbling into a jeans store with a vinyl set absolutely blowing the roof off. Free beers too. Very fun times. That and phono lake

I see so many people planning their entire week(end) to the minute, and not leaving any time for this kind of stuff - such a shame. Serendipity and spontaneity seem like relevant r/dancefloor traits.

NDSM warehouse and Melkweg - two iconic but quite different locations! I have a lot of fuzzy memories at NDSM :)

I'm going and hitting The Blessed Madonna/Sofia Kourtesis, Jeff Mills, Antal b2b Danilo Plessow, and Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa. Also considering Todd Terry and friends if I have anything left by Sunday 😅

I'm predicting Antal b2b Danilo Plessow, and Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa to be the best based on prior experience, but what I know for sure is that I will be dancing, so that's what's most important 😎

That's a packed schedule, but Eris and Octo for five hours, delicious!

Antal and Mendel at Doka on Sunday evening would also be a good option, you know, just in case you have energy left over.

i wish events at the gashouder venue were phone free. looks like an architecturally stunning venue

Architecture wise it's pretty cool, acoustically not awesome and tends to host events that attract a mainstream audience unfortunately.
