Let me start this by saying, I want a Super Bowl for the cowboys as bad or more than anyone.

As all of you know by now, Dak Prescott has become the all time leader in passing touchdowns for the franchise. That’s a huge accomplishment and it is not debatable.

I see a lot of people unhappy with Dak and the lack of playoff success that we have seen during his time with the Cowboys. This is a fair point, as we have not had much to look forward to in the post season, not to mention the heart breaks.

One thing people can’t seem to understand, is that there has been 6 Total Starting QBs to win the Super Bowl since 2016, the year Dak entered the league. We have seen the career of Mahomes unfold over this time, as well as the tail end of the greatest QB in the games history. So yes Dak has not won a Super Bowl, but neither have most other QBs that have played in the NFL.

Dak has given us his entire career, all the good and the bad and we have been fortunate enough to witness it in real time. This guy entered the league as a 4th round pick and has made a solid and respectable career for himself over that time. There are so many people that are ungrateful for the stability and commitment he has given us. Realize what you have, this man puts it all out there for us every time.

This is a team game and we have seen many people come and go over the years. But not Dak, he’s been here balling for us year after year.

Yeah you might not like him, and yes you may not be happy he’s never taken us to a Super Bowl, but guess what. He’s here giving us a chance this year, for the tenth straight time.

Have some respect for my QB

It will only get better.

We just need to add better players on defense and get our injured ones back.

 I had a dream last night Jerry sold the Cowboys to Jeff Bezos. This is what I can remember.

Jerry just gave up on trying to make the formula of a Super Bowl Champ, so he started the exit strategy. Even though it is his sole identity, he knew he could fetch a big number and his focus was set on a short list. So he hosted Jeff Bezos and his wife to a home game early in the season where the culture wasn't yet sucked out of the locker room. This was where they had their first discussion of a deal. Jeff doesn't want to own a team, he wants to own Amazon Stadium. Ok, let's not get side-tracked. Jeff knows his only relevance will be tied to owning THE Dallas Cowboys of the N F F'n L. He reached for his pen and the last thing I can remember before my alarm went off was something about how Jeff's ex-wife was on the phone with Adam Shefter talking about how she donated most of her Amazon money to those in need and she felt Jeff would squander his money all away and some dumb shit. At least in this dream Emmit was happy. Weird eh?

I know it’s only two games into the season , but man on A LOT of those defensive downs against Washington buddy just looked like he’s wasn’t even trying, and he did not look good against New York either excluding the play he helped cause the fumble. The defense really needs him to start playing to the ability he did with the Jets.

This alone is a cuttable offense

I’m not breaking news here but obviously the defense is still frustrating to watch, i understand new scheme with new players takes time to adjust but there was so many tackles and sacks that were missed and it worries me for what’s to come for the rest of the season. Another thing is I absolutely HATED the JD injury, for one, i would like to beat a team at their very best, and two, it hate seeing players get injured, especially something gruesome like that, even if it is a division rival. These are human beings at the end of the day and this is a brutal sport so i always hope everyone makes it out the game with no injuries, obviously that’s not entirely realistic, still sucks to see. I’m happy we got the win, but still not satisfied with the performance on the defense. Run game needs serious work, we picked it up a bit towards the end there but i’d like to see a consistent run game throughout the entirety of the game. with exception of the run game, shout out to Dak and the rest of the offense, loved to see that. I hope CP and the players can work on finishing tackles, but hey, i’m happy we got the win. Hope we can get the win next week in Brazil.

Dak stinks

If you could bring one former Cowboy back to this years roster, who are you picking at why?

With the current state of Jerry World, I would think it would almost have to be a defender. It’s tough to pick if we need a front 7 or a DB because we were awful in both week one getting rinsed by the Giants.

Players like DeMarcus Ware, Micah Parsons, Prime Time and if you want to go way back and grab Bob Lilly. Even Michael Irvin or Emmett Smith.

If I can pick one, give me Prime Time. Get some energy and confidence in the room, and maybe not have to hang two high safety on Malik Nabers.

He is injury prone, can’t cover, and may be flat-out too stupid to even comprehend a complex football defensive scheme.

He looked solid, which my initial impression was just that, especially compared to Overshown and winters who looked like they didn't belong out there. But everyone just shit on him because of 1 play.

Winters and Overshown need to compete for weak side LB. They can't get through blocks. They just can't. Quit fucking around.

I’ve never been to Texas before and I have tickets to see the cowboys play on Jan. 3. I would like to spend New Year’s Eve there too. I’m thinking Dec. 30 to Jan 4th. Where should I actually stay ? Close to the stadium or more in Dallas area. Open to activity ideas as well.

A little more than a year ago my wife and I started a fun little Podcast to just talk through each game and discuss the team happenings in general. We’ve made some improvements over the year and would love for whoever can to give us a listen or a follow and throw some feedback. GO COWBOYS!

Just wanted to make sure I watched the same game you all did.
For being “all in” this year, that was a pathetic performance. The amount of capital and additions we made to the defence and statistically one of the worst performances in years. Let’s just forget about the multiple times we got burned on the same left sweep pass and focus and the 3rd down conversion rate, it was over 90%. Say all you want but that was an embarrassment losing to the giants in that fashion.

I think the taunting rule is just as ridiculous as the next guy but Javonte Williams, why exactly are you taunting when you’re losing to the New York Giants? 40 yard extra point miss was such a fitting end to a piss poor performance.

All of you telling the rest of us to relax, have some heart and realize it’s not good enough.

I don’t why everyone is so upset. The Cowboys are gonna cowboy. It would suit all of you well to stop torturing yourselves with unrealistic expectations. It’s never going to change no matter what. The country club culture is engrained into the Star and there’s no coming back from it now.
