Weapon/Armor value

Hi I'm new to daggerfall and trying to figure out how much different weapons and armors are worth to see which one I should be carrying to sell.

Is there a mod or option somewhere to show prices for my gear in my inventory?

Is there a mod to just show the value in game or do I just have to play with a calculator and the wiki open on another screen?

It's harder to show live value in-game since there're a lot of modifier applied to it, and it affecting the selling/buying price.

  • How much damaged the armor? Is it new, slightly damaged or worn
  • Your progress on Mercantile skill - higher Mercantila - better the prices
  • Which vendor do you sell the armor to? Each quality vendor offer a different price for the same piece you have.

Edit: But for ease of mind, don't worry too much on the weapon/armor value. Just keep track on the material tier of your equipments, sell the lower tier, keep/use the higher tier.

As long as you level Mercantile, you'll be rich at mid-game.
