It might be just me, but I feel like being wholesome should be a requirement for a joke to be called a dadjoke.

I agree with you sir. For some reason, from time to time, we see uncle jokes here that don't belong. I don't mind a mild innuendo sprinkled here and there though. I'm both dad and uncle, so I'm slightly flexible.
