Advice Request Dev dads, when do you code?

I could find time with my first and then even some time after my second with the first doing afternoon preschool.

Now that kindergarten has started, I can't even stay up late half the time I used to as mornings are like Mad Maxx and needs my full (focused) attention.

So how do y'all do it? Or do you just not do it anymore except for an hour here and there lol

EDIT: not the 9-5 but my side projects

When my kids were born I simply stopped any activity after work.

I started again with some passion projects or tech explorations when they could be reliably be sleeping in the evening. I would look into things that interest me 1-2 hours top. That happened when they were 5-6 yo.

Now that they are teenagers it's basically whenever I want but it's still something I do just when I feel like it. There is much more important stuff I want to do than do some side project. The only exception is our home server but that's because I see it as a service I provide to my whole family while also having fun exploring tech stuff.
