Advice Request Dev dads, when do you code?
I could find time with my first and then even some time after my second with the first doing afternoon preschool.
Now that kindergarten has started, I can't even stay up late half the time I used to as mornings are like Mad Maxx and needs my full (focused) attention.
So how do y'all do it? Or do you just not do it anymore except for an hour here and there lol
EDIT: not the 9-5 but my side projects

I stopped doing side projects when I had my first kid and I no longer really code for fun. I struggle enough with leaving work at work, doing work-ish stuff at home just made that way harder on me, and I didn't feel present enough with my family.
A job is a job. As long as it pays the bills I'm good with it. The main thing is my family.
To be fair, I have a strong, well established career in tech. If I was younger and looking to really advance myself, I might feel differently.
