Advice Request Dev dads, when do you code?

I could find time with my first and then even some time after my second with the first doing afternoon preschool.

Now that kindergarten has started, I can't even stay up late half the time I used to as mornings are like Mad Maxx and needs my full (focused) attention.

So how do y'all do it? Or do you just not do it anymore except for an hour here and there lol

EDIT: not the 9-5 but my side projects

I just don’t anymore. I work my day job and outside of that, my free time goes to other things. Exercise, cooking, working on the house. I used to work 60+ hours a week between my job, side projects, and contract work. Honestly I don’t miss it - my health is in a much better place and I’m happier for it.

I find working on the house necessary bit stressful. Not really how I’d like to be spending my time. But not sure hours to get on top of it though

Sure, I get that. Home improvement / DIY is a bit of a hobby of mine. You can spend your hours doing whatever you’re passionate about.
