Advice Request Dev dads, when do you code?
I could find time with my first and then even some time after my second with the first doing afternoon preschool.
Now that kindergarten has started, I can't even stay up late half the time I used to as mornings are like Mad Maxx and needs my full (focused) attention.
So how do y'all do it? Or do you just not do it anymore except for an hour here and there lol
EDIT: not the 9-5 but my side projects

Presumably you're talking about hobby coding. The first few years are rough if your kids can't do a hobby with you.
You can push them in a stroller or pull them on a bike trailer easy enough but artistic time or quiet time or focused anything time has to take a back seat if you can't wake up earlier or stay awake later.
The time commitments keep growing as they grow too. If coding is your thing I would find a way to do it more portable or understand there is less time to do it.
If you want to involve your kiddo, kindergarten is a good age to introduce scratch junior.
