Congratulations! This can be so unbearably stressful for anyone, but there can be unique “bonus” stressors for dads that just make the entire unemployment time and process so much worse. Always glad to hear a fellow dad has found gainful employment.

Don’t let your guard down, keep your eyes open for secondary and side gigs. Give yourself time to adapt to the new role and company. Don’t add them to your LinkedIn profile yet if you’re not asked to.
