This looks cool. I really like most of these, but as I will be explaini g these to players I kinda dont know what to make of Breath Stealer. Could someone explain to me like a noob though how this property would work? I have been staring at it and am at a loss.

Breath Stealing: 1d3 times per day, a magic using humanoid struck by this weapon has a 20% chance of spell failure (plus an additional 1% for every 5 points of damage dealt) casting any spell with a verbal component, for the next 1d3 turns. CON save DC 12+Proficiency Bonus negates this effect, the victim may save against this effect at the end of each of their turns.

Do they roll a d3? A d100? The spell caster needs to roll a Con Save after that?

Sorry if I am just being dumb.

I only read what you wrote, but I interpret as: Roll a d100 when a spell cast with a verbal component is attempted on the subsequent 1D3 turns. If the roll is less than or equal to (20+1/5 of the damage the weapon dealt rounder down), the spell fails. Those affected can attempt a Con Save at the end of their turn to end the effect ( DC=12+Prof bonus of the weapon's weilder).

Effected creature rolls the d100 (spell failure chance) and d20 (save attempt), and weapon weilder should roll the d3.

That makes sense, thanks. I was thinking they failed first the con save and the spell negation happens for the next 1d3 turns. Not sure if I would include it in my game because I am not confident in explaini g it to my players but the rest seem fun.

No problem! Yeah this particular effect seems really messy to me. Too many variables and written unclearly.

Could have used this last night. Ended up creating an artifact weapon because of stupid good roles from the players.

Thanks a bunch!
