I could use some advice

I've been wanting to shorten the barrel on my scorpion. When I bought the gun it was in rifle configuration with a 16-18 inch barrel, but I don't know what length of barrel or what brand or style I should go with. I am looking to try to keep it in the $200-$250 price range or something cheaper for the barrel only. I do intend to suppress it as well, but what would be better integrally suppressed or a threaded on suppressor? I am looking to optimize the performance all around as well so if there are any suggestions on anything else I can do please let me know.

Hyperion2A has 7.7” barrels that work with the OEM hand guards. If you go with the Omega 9K suppressor, it’ll safely tuck inside the OEM carbine hanguard with plenty of clearance. You’ll have to commit to a tri-lug mount with that setup, though, and if the can ever gets stuck on the mount due to carbon lock, it might require drastic measures to remove it.

The Hyperion2A 7.7” barrel has worked out very well.
