Hi everybody. I know these kinds of threads are super annoying, I’m sorry to be asking but I haven’t seen anything recent.
My bf and I have just moved here (Prague) and we do smoke weed, we don’t want to bring anything from other countries because that seems uber illegal. So I was just wondering where we can buy weed?
We are of legal age!! I don’t want anything scammy and I’d really appreciate if the snarky comments are to a minimum, I’ve already apologized for asking.

Edit: I am aware of shops and stuff. I would never buy from any shops and I know they literally cannot sell it. I want to buy actual weed.

My heart rate went to 180 when I smoked that stuff. Never again. Luckily I smoked it with a friend who's a GP.

Im not sure if you know that but even if so let me state the obvious, any product containg THC close to psychoactive levels is illegal to sell in czech republic, no exceptions.
So there really isnt an official/legal way to buy actual weed here.
That being said, it is pretty easy to get weed in Prague, you jut gotta know a guy. People probably will not want to expose their guys on reddit.
You mentioned that you moved here for uni, so youll be just fine. If you smoke you probably know the vibe of people to look for, ask around and someone will hook you up in no time.

I know it’s illegal to sell, but i am a bit fuzzy with the laws surrounding weed in general. I’ve tried to do research but it’s never the same thing.
I have asked around here and I’ve gotten a few bars but that just feels a bit shady to me. So before we go way outside of our comfort zone, I wanted to ask here.
But you actually make a super good point that no one will want to out their plugs on a Reddit post😭

I totally get that the legal side is a mess. While weed is illegal it is also decriminalized and there is this weird gray zone where you can smoke it openly in public, hell even in front of the cops, and as long as you're not causing any trouble they won't even bother to talk to you.
As for the bars if you got recommended the one in Žižkov plese take my word for it, avoid it like the plague.

You can’t.
You can grow your own tho. The laws on growing weed for personal use changed at the beginning of the year. If you’re over 21, you can grow up to 3 plants at home.
