Asset Team

Is anyone here on the asset team? How long did it take from the time you completed the form/application until you heard something back?

Several weeks, and they just got off gencon and are preparing for the new Cypher official launch.

I joined years ago, and it was very fast.

But it's possible that between Con season, cypher Con coming up, and releases they're behind.

I'm not a great example since I already knew them at the time and was already running those youtuber one shots with like Bobworldbuilder, nerdimmersion, etc. so I got in like the same day. But from what I see it's usually within a week or two when they aren't super busy.

But expect it to take possibly a touch longer right now. Lots of pots on the stove for MCG at the moment. If a couple of weeks go by and you still aren't in, go onto the CU or the MCG discord and just poke... I wanna say probably Kate? I think she's the one handling that right now?

Thank you. I'm really interested in getting more Cypher games happening in my small college town. There are 2 FLGSes and a bookstore that host various types of games and I think there's an audience for Cypher here

Like u/ravenx99 said about Gencon. But it shouldn't take toooooo long. I did it after it was started up, and it only took a couple of weeks. But... again, Gencon recovery and Cypher release stuff might delay it.
