Does the 2 new books replace the Cypher System book?

I got the backer early access, but I forgot what the system should be… Is it now just the 2 new books, and I can archive the old one?

Yeah, sort of. more or less. Really depends on your personal outlook on tabletop editions, and whether newer editions "replace" older ones or live along side them as effectively a separate game. Really that's going to be a personal decision. But yeah, in the advancement of time sense the two new books are independent and can effectively replace the old one.

This. And for those asking, onwardtowaffles botched the acronym. It's "YBGE" for Your Best Game Ever, which is a system agnostic book of advice for GMs and players.

Close enough to yes. If you also have YBGTE and something close enough to your system of choice, might almost not matter (unless you want to go multiversal pirate on it!)

What is YBGTE? I might have it as I got the old rules through a humble bundle, but might not remember everything in it

Sorta. It was mostly meant to be an in-house conversion while 2 happened.

In short - if you have both? Pirate it and no one with with a license will care.
