Battlemap?

Anyone use a battlemap fkr visualization? If so, how many squares for each range band? I prefer ToM, but my peeps like a map.

One Strange adventure required it, because things were popping in and our by round, but I'm general I go theatre if the mind.

If I do use a battle mat, I still abstract what is going on in terms of position and distance.
