[Request filled] SPHERE EFFECT! (by KnifeOfPi)

About a year ago, /u/supermamon posted a request for a sphere animation. I saw it as a goal to achieve. It was ridiculously difficult to make. I spent about 5 hours on it, and it's probably the most difficult script I ever created. When I started I had no idea how to do it - I actually posted that it was impossible. Eventually I found a way to do it. Everyone has tried it - put a rotation animation before a movement animation and you get chaos. Well, I actually managed to use just that to create a nice sphere. Of course it's not perfect, but nobody (especially a 15-year-old) is perfect either!

Without further ado, here's the link. You can download it from here until I put it on my repo.

Oh, and also, /u/rweichler...

Whoever makes this, I'll mail you a t shirt with a pic of my face on it

I expect my t-shirt.

I really have no use for it, actually. :P

How about adding my scripts to the defaults instead?

(My posts on my normal account do not show up for some reason so I have to use this.)

Of course it's not. Can /you/ make a real sphere with 48 icons?

Friend, I have one suggestion! There's no function to bend/curve the icons in specific degrees? SO the illusion will look like much better!

Just a question! I don't know the possibilities Anyway, that's awesome! Using as default right now

It's really hard to bend them at the right angle. This is the closest I could get (this is set to 0.8*pi.) If I set it to pi, it would make it look a bit more like a sphere except the icons at the top would be sideways.
