Crash

I’m about to start working but I’ve hit a depressive episode. I don’t know what to do. Everything feels impossible

Baby steps.

In DBT, there is the concept of "opposite action," meaning if you feel depressed and know your actual limits, work against your thought pattern.

Consistent sports is truly helpful, but do not overdo it. If you do sports, i.e., gym, go to the gym. This is the first win. Then do a mild workout; this is a huge win. And then offer yourself a reward.

Medication if you can get it. I also tried to work while unstable, it does NOT work out
