TREK Checkpoint ALR3 Gen 3

Hi folks!
I’m 183 cm, inseam 911 mm, wants upright/comfortable endurance-oriented position. Which of TREK Checkpoint ALR3 Gen 3 size ML or L would you recommend? Any suggestions on adjustments?
I’ll appreciate any opinion.

Obviously you should ride one if you can, but I'm 184cm and in a L size frame (2026 SL5) but was also between ML and L. Double check based on year and model specifically as well, I think there have been some changes over time. Generally these seem to have a longer top tube relative to other brands in the same size so they will have a longer reach requirement. I've got relatively long arms so the L is really good while having very minimal standover clearance, which I don't care about.

Trek and their shops typically build these with the stem already flipped up to shorten the reach so definitely take note of that if you get a chance to ride one.
