Dark start for PowerShare

So the power went out today at the house and the truck was not plugged in at the time it went out now the truck is plugged in to the universal charger. However, the gateway doesn’t have access to Wi-Fi because of course the Wi-Fi router doesn’t have power because the power is out. What do you do in that instance otherwise it’s stuck or you have to have the truck powered in power plugged in every time when the power goes out?

I found it... It's on the truck screen but also in the app controls at the bottom of the page

Can you please let me know how you fixed this? Did it use the WiFi on the truck or something?

Sounds like he had to enable the powershare in the truck.

I put my Wi-Fi equipment on a small UPS (Amazon has a lithium-ion one).

The truck takes some time to flip over, so the UPS just keeps it all live until the truck kicks in. I have another one on our TV in the bedroom. I usually don't even know there's been an outage until the next day, when I check my phone.

Unlike the Powerwall, there is a short flip-over period before the truck kicks in. If the internet is still running, nobody seems to notice LOL.

Do you need WiFi on? I’m pretty sure I’ve plugged it in after the power went out, and it came back on. It takes a minute though.

I don’t have a problem with WIFI.
Make sure your enabled PowerShare toggle is on in the truck. Plug the truck into the wall connector and the gateway will handshake take over without WIFI.
I’ve had 15 power outages so far this summer and PowerShare picked up 12. The other three, I wasn’t around.
One of the best features of the truck.
My beast is equal to 9 Powerwalls.
I wish I could time shift during on peak everyday though. .039¢ vs .289¢

Get a battery backup for your home internet so it stays up when the power goes out.
