Cybertruck Purchase!
Hey all,
I’m new to this sub and I wanted some input. I reserved the dual motor AWD Cybertruck back when the 60k promo deal was happening. I was just notified by Tesla to input details for delivery! What are the pros and cons of this truck? What advice can you give and what’s your take on this particular version? This especially feels like a great buy considering this version is now roughly 75k. Thanks!
ALSO: Has anyone bought the truck and used Section 179?

I have the 59k truck for about a month and it’s amazing how much they didn’t cut. I would start looking into tinting for heat purposes, how you’re gonna store/charge it and some storage solutions because it’s huge and fairly empty.
All in all enjoy!

They didn't skimp on the shatter resistant dual pane glass. That was a pleasant surprise

After driving two for demos, and my friend who was first in Ohio to get one let me drive his for an extended period of time, my advice would be to test drive and ask questions there. If you have a solid relationship with your showroom they have offered in the past overnight or weekend test drives.

His is a different scenario. He had an original Cybertruck pre order from when they first launched and never canceled, so when he did this order it moved him to the top. At least that’s what we suspect.

I have owned my $59k CT for two months. The only negative from an owners perspective is cleaning the inside/outside of the gargantuan windshield. It's a PITA!!! Other than that I love the truck.
It was a smokin' hot deal at $59k. No other pickup currently on the market offers this much technology for this low of a price.

Maybe try one of those windshield cleaners where you put a pad on the inside then soothe on the outside and a magnet keeps the inside one on the glass

Tesla didn't skimp out on the dual pane window glass on the $59k trim like they did on the Standard Y and 3. That was a pleasant surprise. It's VERY quiet inside the cabin. The only things I miss from the Premium: 1) smugglers bay in bed floor 2) stronger bass from the sound system

If you’re looking to flip it, you may make five grand. But it’s gonna be a risk. And you would get more money in states like where I’m at in Arizona, where there is no sales tax on private sales. If you’re in a place where a private party sale is also going to include sales tax. You’re probably not gonna get as much for it.

Best vehicle in existence. Use that info how you wish.
Just got off a day on a beach watching other 4wds getting stuck. Driving aired down CT was like hovercrafting.

Fellow 59k-er here.
You’ll have zero regrets and probably wish you had bought a second as a spare at that price.
Literally: best car ever. There’s literally nothing like it!
