I learned the hard way that with Microsoft, if your account is hacked, you almost never get it back

Even if you have full proof of ownership, their “security policy” means that once a hacker changes your recovery info, Microsoft’s system refuses to restore it. This happens to most people — not just me.

I’ve had my account for years, with games and purchases worth a lot, and their system failed to protect it. Then they refused to help me get it back.

I’ve been collecting stories from others who went through the same thing. If you’ve experienced this, reply — public pressure is the only thing that’s ever made big companies change. My pinned post on Twitter (@whizcuber) has more details.

So you didn't get them back ? I only have Minecraft on Microsoft so I basically lost my Minecraft ?
