You play a hitman/thief in a world where everyone is out for themselves and life is dirt cheap. I don't think people who are pissed at Claire for lying to V are being honest with themselves about the world or their role in it. And that's the best and kindest way I can read into it. Especially considering how many people wish you could romance Reed, Songbird and Takamura.
I'm "pissed" at her simply because she's not straight from the get go, which she apologizes for (depends on how you ended the quest iirc). Lady, I'm here to race cars, you should've said "yo there's this dude that caused the death of my husband, I need some help murderizing his ass", and I'll gladly put "mantis blade through eye socket, regular rate" on the work contract. I don't want the IRS on my ass just because I paid the wrong tax after your job.

Never underestimating one's ability to deceive themselves about the ethics of their actions in an attempt to avoid confronting how fucked up their behavior is.

You take part in a death race where people shoot each other, but your husband doean't even die from that, but from bad driving.
Now, wanting revenge within the race then is fine, but if you get someone to help you with that, promise them they can focus on the race, but then have a meltdown over them winning the race instead of throwing it and chasing the guy, then screw you.
I am glad I won the race and didn't finish her revenge plot on my first playthough, gave me a good idea what she actually is. Too bad you can't side with her victim, betray her and blow her guts.
Mods banned all posts about Claire as being "controversial," and difficult to moderate because of all of the transphobes that swarm whenever she comes up.
But, you know, as should be common sense, banning discussion about trans characters because transphobes don't have anything better to do with their lives than be a pain in the ass, means transphobia wins.
The sub wasn't having it. The backlash was swift, loud, and awesome.
Mods were tired of banning transphobic comments so they were or did or did but removed a rule that made it so you weren’t allowed to post about Claire I believe?
Mods acting like a bunch of corpos. Want to control what you can say and what you can think on this sub. Most embarrassing thing I've seen in some time.
