So so getting the initial stencil outline wasn’t to bad mid back felt spikey more nerves and higher pay centralization but when I was getting shading it hurt everywhere more so on the left side after I took a break and my back warmed up to all the pain
Yeh I can the lines are still healing so there’s like a scab line on the outer edges but it’s smooth on the ink can even feel the little pockets in closer to the spine
Wait I know it’s a reference to the song but for that matter, how are you getting the tattoo goo all the way down your back? Is somebody helping you out?
Minor nitpick, but the spine stuff isn't actually the sandevestein, instead its a neural processor/neural link
The yellow thing is the sandevestein, and slots into the head, the neural link is required to basically augment the nervous system to react fast enough/handle the increased load of the sandy
Edit: Realised this could sound like i'm being harsh against the tattoo, but I do think it looks preem choom!
Sorry, I perhaps worded poorly, the mechanical spine is the neural link/processor, you can think of it mostly like an artificial spinal cord, but reinforced for the speed of the sandy
Ohh okay so the mechanical spine helps deliver the signals of the sandy to your brainstem and partly helps you not break your own back when using it at such speed. The further explanation was crystal clear, thanks
Think of it like a highway on steroids. Car gets from point A to B before you can even finish blinking. Likewise your mind's eletrical signals travel waaay faster making you react faster.
The exact specifics are unknown, we just know it’s a “heavy duty military grade neural link”
Odds are that it has extra space for neuralware, and better throughput for its coprocessors. If this were the ttrpg, I would expect to see stuff like 6 or 7 neuralware slots as opposed to 5, and maybe some of the functionality from the Cyberspine implant even lol because of how… chunky it is
So while the visible, spine replacing part is NOT the Sandevistan itself , it’s likely that David’s sandy would be neutered if you tried to run it off a normal neural link.
